Origins-logic-wise it obviously makes sense that the hidden blade has to be upgraded to be effective, but it's easy to understand why people were unhappy ifyou get searched wearing a hidden wirst blade thats really not that hidden it takes your whole forearm. not super stealthy is it. People are gonna notice that fast. Searching someone with a knife, oh this dude just has a knife no biggy, oh this dude has a weird hidden blade bracer thing, well he's obviously up to no good.
